Whohoooo !!!!!

Dalen beat Falun on their Dalarna weekend-tour..after following each other up `til 4-4, in the last period Dalen did no less than 3 goals..thus ending with the result 4-7. Frida Eriksson was responsible for no less than 4 of the goals....great work !!!!

If they beat KAIS Mora tomorrow things will look real good for the end of the series, i am looking forward to their homegames next weekend (more than usual, that is !) :)
Way to go girls !! :)

On the other hand, hockey.
Yesterday i was following Oskarshamn IK against Redhawks through their website.
I was really nervous after the defeat against Rögle in the Skåne-derby last wednesday. Also it was Lasse Pirjtäs first game in 10 months after his surgery.
Well, to keep it short..we made the first goal...but after that the penalties just kept coming in. A complete disaster, 4-2 after the first two periods. Even i began to despair...Then it all happened...we came out as a completely new team.....4-3 and 4-4 followed. I spoke to Madde (fellow Redhawks-supporter) on MSN during the game, and while totally into it i said that if Lasse scored ,or in some way won the game for us, then i would buy his replica-shirt...with name and all.
And as soon as i hade written that; Lasse stole the puck, passed it to Mikko Eloranta who sent it to Ville Nieminen who scored !!!!!!!!!!!
So now a replicaorder have been sent ;)

If you want to follow what happened then watch the last two pages of the gamethread on Redhawks Support forum here as i explain it more (in swedish) there.

Trond Kirkvaag

...does an awsome imitation of the former weatherman Vidar Theisen on norwegian televisionchannel NRK.

If you are norweigian and lived there in the late 70`s and up to 90`s you just gotta love this !
I confess, that i laughed so hard i almost cried... :)

Trond Kirkvaag, a legend that will live on forever.

Whining a bit (do not worry, it will pass)

Everything seems to go against me for the time being, which takes a lot (if not even allmost all) of my energy.

One strange thing i have noticed. If things like this would have happened a couple of years ago i would have been totally devastated. Now i just feel kind of sad about it all, and wish it all away.
Is this a good development? Does it mean that i have finally learned to cope with misery, does it mean that i have given up, does it mean that i have gone cold? I really do not know......

no news yet

Been away the last days..and have been working (and not to forget that good old laziness of mine)......excuses, excuses, excuses..well well well.

Short (and not very sweet).

But, just working this week, after that i have 3 weeks off.
Going home...more about this later when everything is properly arranged :)

Decided to get kind of serious with this blogg, after all. But it will not be the usual run-of-the-mill blogg where i tell abut everything that happens in my life, because am sure that it would bore your asses off.
I recently read a book about H.P. Lovecraft....it was written by some french guy whose name i cannot remember. Well, anyway, he wrote that if one should read his (Lovecrafts, not the frenchman, silly;) ) diary, it would say "nothing much happens" most of the time. Just like my life.

So, where does this leave me then ? It means that i will try do deliver snippets of curious information along the way, while also sometimes break in with some real-life obeservations, sarcasms and ironies (Right spelling? Who cares? You understand what i mean;) ) that in many ways seems to be my natural way of communication, that i hope someone will find at least a little bit amusing/interesting/thought-provoking.

You will see, oh yes, you will see alright.

Btw, here is the book i was refering to earlier. Interesting reading indeed:

"Against the World, Against Life"
by Michel Houellebecq (i told you about the name !!!)

Records of 2007.

This is what i have been listening and/or bought in 2007:

  • Anna Ternheim: Lovers Dream & more music for psychic lovers
  • 108: A New Beat from a Dead Heart
  • H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society: A Very Scary Solstice
  • Mayhem: Ordo ab Chao
  • Onslaught: Killing Peace
  • H.P. Lovecraft Historical Society: An Even Scarier Solstice
  • Amber Asylum: Still Point
  • Puissance: Grace of God
  • Call of Cthulhu soundtrack
  • Summoning: Oath Bound

Yet another quote

By whom i do not care to mention...since it is of no importance.

"When night falls
she cloaks the world
in impenetrable darkness.
A chill rises
from the soil
and contaminates the air
suddenly...life has new meaning."
So, there you go !

of course

The last weekend of january:

- UIK plays an indoor football-cup in Væxjø.
- Floorhockey-cup in Umeå.
- Invited to Østersund for a birthdayparty.

Why must everything happen at the same time ?

Quote of the day:

Today it is swedish by one of the goalies in IBK Dalen, Sara Svensson

"Sophia: Hörde något om att det var "hjärta och lunga" på träningen i onsdags. Vad innebär det?
Sara:Det innebär att Örjan och Lingon kan stå och titta på medan vi springer skiten ur oss…"

I just can say this: "i know the feeling".

And i have a wicked sense of humour ;)

In the works...

Just want to say that i have been very busy preparing for the holidays (well, the few days that i have), that is why there have been very little progress here. But like the one who waits for the rising of R`lyeh, you never wait too long ;)

Cthulhu for president 2008 !

As a devout follower of The Great Old One i cannot let this slip. Join us !
Why vote for a lesser evil ?

"Are you tired of partisan rhetoric and lying, devious executives who can't keep true to what they claimed they would do on the campaign trail? Then come 2008, vote for the one candidate who doesn't flip-flop: The Lord of the Abyss, King of Despair and Master of Carnage, Great Cthulhu.

Cthulhu has one goal: the complete destruction of all existence, and you can be sure he won't cut-and-run until nothing is left. Mission accomplished. Cthulhu supports compromise on a variety of issues.

Abortion? To please the right, Cthulhu supports the nation-wide banning of abortion. However, for those who want their right to choose, a government initiative will be set up: In the place of an abortion Cthulhu will eat your unborn baby. (Note: Baby consumption may be mandatory)
For the war in Iraq? Against it? Cthulhu will lash out with his infinite tendrils and eradicate all life in the Middle-East. The war on terror is won, and we get to bring our troops back home (those that escape before said eradication).

All in all, you can't afford not to vote for Cthulhu. Because if you don't, you'll be the first to be fed to him once he takes power.

Just kidding! We'll all be first. "

Here is Great Cthulhus political platform: http://www.cthulhu.org/cthulhu/positions.html

IÆ! IÆ! Cthulhu f`tagn !

Statistics..

Since i am both a jock and a nerd i have som dubious plesures. One of them is making statistics of things i own. Todays victims are my dearly beloved records. Todays questions; which decade are most represented?

And the answer is...........

  1. 1990´s: 703
  2. 2000´s: 400
  3. 1980´s: 209
  4. 1970´s: 67
  5. 1960´s:12

Am i not a fatastically interesting person, or what???

With a discrete sense of irony?

You bet...

Words of Wisdom, part 3

"When the people of the world all know beauty as beauty, there arises the recognition of ugliness. When they all know the good as good, there arises the recognition of evil."

Confusion..

I feel perfectly fine living and working in Umeå...but still i am homesick. Umeå is fine but it is not home, i guess :(.

Except for family i have nothing home, but still it draws me...when i am there it feels just so... right. I will have no problem getting me new work either.

In Umeå i have work and sports (which is one of my few hobbies, both playing and watching)..

So i just do not know what to do. If i move i will miss watching UIK & Dalen & Huskies and everything around it SO VERY MUCH !

But in the end, i still do not feel home.

A little insight and a source of inspiration.

"It all seems very easy, this revolution game
But when you start to really play thing won't be quite the same
Your intellectual theories on how it's going to be
Don't seem to take into account the true reality
Cos the truth of what you're saying, as you sit there sipping beer
Is pain and death and suffering, but of course you wouldn't care.

You're far too much of a man for that, if Mao did it so can you.
What's the fredom of us all against the suffering of a few?
That's the kind of self-deception that killed six million jews
Just the same false logic that all power-mogers use
."

I detest communist mentality and ideology.
It took me a lot of years to see the true face of it.

Face it, i really wanted it to be true, but its practise is death.

This little text above is from Crass, the song "Bloody Revolutions", and i think they hit it spot-on. But that does not mean that i take all they have said as absolute truths. I think they said many wise things, but also alot that i do not agree with.

And i sincerely believe that any ideology that demands "teaching" and "deprogramming" of people to show its worth is basically evil.

So, one of the few political entrys of this blogg..i hope it will be a long time until next time.

What have happened to my posts?

Today all of my posts were gone, a big fuck-up somewhere i guess.

Todays quote:
"How do you tell a communist? Well, it's someone who reads Marx and Lenin. And how do you tell an anti-Communist? It's someone who understands Marx and Lenin"

-Ronald Reagan
